About us
Volunteering gives an exciting chance to play a part in your local community, make a difference and gain work experience.
vinvolved team Luton, run by the YMCA, launched in 2008 provides innovative and exciting volunteering opportunities to young people. We have over 750 volunteers signed up and continue to recruit. Organisations have registered over 950 opportunities with us. The YMCA vinvolved team support those who register to volunteer and place them in an area that is relevant and of interest to them.
Launched in 2006 v is a charity for 16-25 year olds that helps young people to find a range of exciting and challenging volunteering opportunities.
v and the YMCA believes that every young person has the right to volunteer. We reach out to those who have never considered volunteering before and those who are underrepresented in volunteering. A network of teams provides advice and support for every young person in England, no matter where they live.
Young people receive certificates to mark their achievements and hard work.
