MK YMCA OBJECTIVES FOR 2010 – 2011

New residents' lounge

MK YMCA staff are currently involved with this latest project. Plans have been drawn up and the intention is for the new Lounge to occupy previous office space located below our middle block of flats.

It is estimated that the project will cost in the region of £35,000 and fund raising is already being organised. A grant of £10,000 has been allocated by the Big Lottery Fund and further grants have been applied for.

MK Staff and volunteers are holding a charity abseil event in December in MK City Centre.

We welcome any suggestions for further fund raising ideas and encourage all the volunteers to contribute.
